Parent Consent Policy

This application is committed to protecting the online privacy of children. We abide by the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), which stipulates that parental consent is needed before collecting, using, or disclosing personal information from children under the age of 13; we (the application owners) also extend the Act to children under the age of 18 who reside in Canada and the United States of America.

In compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) regulations, www.coppa.org , You (the Parent)  must accept the parental consent policy outlined below if your child, who is under 18, wants to use our application. By doing this, you acknowledge that you are the child’s parent or legal guardian and that you give your consent for our privacy policy to allow us to collect, use and disclose your child’s personal information.

We design, develop and produce connected accessories for luxury brands which all connect to ONE OS, a Wearatec brand. Our health sensing devices observe users’ health via heart rate, HRV and SpO2. Additionally, we gather motion sensor data such as steps, sleep, activity and gestures. All of the data is transmitted into ONE OS, where the application’s algorithms evaluate and analyze it, providing users with insights.

PARENTAL CONSENT AND RELEASE POLICY

The application gathers personal data from its users as part of this service, including but not limited to name, email address and any personal content that you or your child uploads to the application. 

• I hereby state and agree that I consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of my child’s personal information as described in the Privacy Policy when my child accesses and/or uses this application in exchange for allowing my child to use it.
• In my capacity as a parent or legal guardian, I hereby certify that I have carefully read, comprehend and do not require further explanation regarding the use of the application that my child or youth wishes to use.
• I voluntarily waive any and all claims, demands or causes of action against the owners of the application, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and agents related to the use of the application by my child.
• I certify that I read this Parental Consent and Release Form in its entirety before agreeing to it and that I’m fully aware of its contents. I certify that I have all the authority, rights, and privileges of a parent or legal guardian required to execute this agreement with the force of law.
